The membership of EUDY is composed of national non-profit organisations of the deaf young people in the European Union, in the countries neighbouring the European Union and in the Erasmus+ programme countries such as Iceland and Norway.
As of today, there are 30 member organisations in the European Union of the Deaf Youth. Those member organisations are either official youth organisations independent from the National Associations of the Deaf (NADs) or as a youth section of the National Associations of the Deaf. Each of these member organisations often are national umbrella organisations reuniting regional and local deaf youth clubs in their countries. Those member organisations are united into EUDY’s General Assembly which is the highest body of the organisation. Member organisations have a vote in EUDY’s policies and activities and the assembly comes together once a year.
EUDY is an active partner of the European Union of the Deaf (EUD) which is a non-profit European Non-Governmental Organisation comprising National Associations of the Deaf (NADs). It is important to note that EUDY is independent from the EUD and it focuses on youth aged between 0 and 30 years old.
